A couple of weeks ago Nicole and I got to spend a wonderful couple of hours with a beautiful baby who was only just over a week old. No matter how often we get to spend time with newborn babies and their parents it never fails to amaze me at the wonders of life and all its miracles! I need to get these beautiful photographs printed next, but in the meantime if you have a moment please check out this beautiful family.
Dad sneaked the twins away into our photography studio in Seattle while Mum was away on a quick trip a few weeks ago. His goal was to create a unique Mothers Day gift and there are few things that are better for a Mum than photographs of her babies. They are both leaving for a few days away tomorrow so Dad gave Mum her gift early so I’m allowed to post these now that the surprise is out! So dam cute.
We designed a layout with the first three photographs into a long frame and after I printed it Nicole framed it, doesn’t it look wonderful! I would imagine this is now taking up a nice spot of wall in their home, yeah!
I’ve been getting back into things and today I have been finishing off printing some wonderfully cute photographs of this little girl that was taken in our photography studio in Seattle a while ago. This was part of a larger family session but I had to publish these photographs of this little darling today in her boots and jeans. So adorable.
Mum and Dad ended up choosing one of our beautiful canvas stretched canvas photographs with all three prints in one canvas sheet. I pulled the pink from her jeans as the border color that looks so lovely for the final print.
I feel really fortunate to get the chance to spend so much time with my young clients. I’ve photographed Noah since he was a couple of weeks old and have the pleasure of watching him grow and I get to see him every couple of months when mum brings him into our photography studio here in Seattle. Tomorrow we get mark his one year birthday with a fun shoot in the studio.
These photographs were taken of him at the end of last year that I never posted in the holiday rush so I thought I would today quickly.
This is a print that I finished a while ago and just had to post. To me there are few things more special than the first few weeks of a child’s life and its especially exciting when its the first child. I shot this photograph in our photography studio in Seattle and I just love the interaction between the three of them with Mum being so excited while baby looks at Dad who looks so proud.
Jenny visited us recently and ordered some photographs for Husband of her and their wonderful son for a valentines day gift. Knowing that Steve already has them on his desk at work I thought I would post these previews quickly. Its so good to see the love between Noah and his lovely Mum.
This Saturday one of the sessions that we had in our photography studio here in Seattle was of baby Noah. If you have visited this blog before you might recognize him and Mum as we have been photographing him since he was two weeks old. I especially love working with clients during their babies first year or eighteen months growth, its just so much fun to watch them grow and become toddlers right before our eyes. And of course the babies relax more as they come back to a familiar environment.
Here are three fun shots of the growing young man hanging onto Mum.
We are putting the last finishing touches to this fun project. We got the chance to meet this simply beautiful young lady a while ago when she came in for her first photography session with us in our Seattle photography studio. It was her first birthday and Mum wanting some photographs of her to celebrate the occasion. After chatting with Mum we decided to work on both classic shots and then some completely fun ones with her and a birthday cake that she completely tore apart after a while.
The shot above was one of Tim’s favorite’s of his two girls and it completely show’s their relationship and the love between them. We are framing this one for his office. We also just put together a little slide show of some of our favorites from the session plus some video footage that we shot of the session. Click on the thumbnail below to check out what fun we can have in our photography studio here in Seattle.

Sheryl: Phil, this just turned out great. Kaitlin and Kaleb had a good time in your studio and particularly loved playing street musicians alongside their faithful hound. They were so excited to present this canvas to their dad, and his reaction did not disappoint. He loved it! Thanks for bringing out my kids’ personalities in many different ways (you actually got teens to smile in many of the other shots!) and thanks for helping us capture this important stage in their lives.
