So after much work the studio is getting close to being finished.  Called The Fine Art Photography Studio a name that we thought reflected the type of work that we do, its located in Seattle’s coveted Belltown neighborhood.  The building is pretty old for West Coast USA and dates back to 1913 when it was the home to Seattle Empire Laundry.  It’s a classic loft style with eighteen foot ceilings, wooden floors and original brick interior walls.

In addition to the core area where we bring our client seen in these images we also have our own lab where all of your photographs are processed in our digital light room. Although a completely modern setup we apply traditional, or some might say old fashioned techniques to the modern world.  Unlike many other studios we do all our own printing in house on archival-quality stock that will outlast us and actually be looking great for your children’s children to enjoy.   There is also a lovely presentation area where we can show you proof’s on a large screen and where we will chat about printing & framing.

Then we also have the two lovely cats who’ve been gracious enough to let me work here. Don’t worry, they’re incredibly friendly and provide great entertainment!
